Walked up at 5:00pm on a weekday table for two seated right away. Service was quick we had our food within 20 mins. The oysters were great. We also had clams in a delicious sauce. I would eat here again. Lil pricey but worth it. Should have done the oyster happy hour before 5! I also have a shell fish allergy and the staff took the time to write out dishes with unknown shrimp oils and pastes.

Delicious and delightful! Our favorite was the crab curry - generous portion of crab and simply perfect sauce. Next time I want to return with a bigger group to try more of the menu!

Came at noon for lunch without a reservation. There was a short line. Waited about 5-10 minutes and then they seated our party of three. The cocktails are stunning, one more gorgeous than the next. We ordered 2 apps, the shrimp ceviche and the crispy pork fried rice. We each ordered our own entrees, a crab curry, sticky crispy pork belly, and crab with glass noodles. I had the noodle dish which had jumbo lump crab and pieces of bacon. While everything was tasty, the noodle dish was the best out of the three. Definitely recommend.

We did the restaurant week and was able to sample a few items on that menu with our group. Over all the food was good. If it says spicy, it will be spicy, they can’t really adjust the spice level as the chef wants to keep it that way. The shaved ice with the assorted toppings was delicious.

Great food, great service and atmosphere Advice - if it says spicy on the menu? It’s spicy let’s not even play around. I did the restaurant week and had the famous chicken well worth the wait. Every thing is seasoned. And seasoned well. They aren’t doing just salt and pepper here!

Portion sizes are not particularly large, but every dish is packed with flavor. The steamed fish stood out in particular — the tangy sauce perfectly complemented the tender, flawlessly cooked fish. Even those who typically don’t enjoy seafood would likely appreciate this dish. The corn salad was fresh and topped with a unique dressing. While it had a flavor reminiscent of Thai crab sauce, it managed to avoid any strong fishiness, instead offering a light kick of spice. The cool, crunchy corn paired beautifully with the sauce. The chicken wings were nicely crisped and served hot, which was a plus. The sauce was less sweet than a typical Korean-style chicken sauce, but thicker and richer in texture. The prawn curry is best enjoyed with rice — the combination enhances the creamy coconut flavor, and the firm texture of the prawns adds a satisfying bite. Despite it being 8 PM, the restaurant was still bustling, and a few alcoholic drinks were already sold out. The service was lively, friendly, and impressively prompt. Highly recommended for anyone looking for flavorful Thai cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

Becoming a regular at Fish Cheeks now, and it is consistently bold and flavorful. The pork cheek appetizer is one of my favourites with its rich, juicy texture and savory punch. The Isan style grilled chicken paired with crab fried rice truly hits the spot— the chicken is juicy, tender with a nice char, and the fried rice is light but generously filled with crab. The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, though it can get a bit loud and seating feels tight when it is busy. Prices are on the higher side but with generous portions and the food quality makes it worthwhile.
